RULES FOR SPECIAL SKILLS CONTESTS

RULES

FOR SPECIAL SKILLS CONTESTS

• Free Throw Shooting

• 3-Point Shooting

A CHANCE TO WIN CASH!

1.) At 1:00 pm and again at 2:00 pm we will conduct free throw and three point shooting contests. There will be one winner in each category. We are doing this in two stages so that anyone on the floor and playing during one session has a good chance of catching the second.

2.) Note: the three point mark will be at college range. Also, because of limited space the three-point angle will be essentially straight-on.

3.) Here’s how it’ll work:

a.) The special skills events will be announced.

b.) Cost to enter the free throw contest: $20 for 15 free throws. Pay the coordinator of the event.

c.) Cost to enter the three-point contest: $20 for 15 three-point shots. Pay the coordinator of the event.

d.) Event coordinator will keep track of high scores. Tie-scores will be settled by a sudden death (first one to miss loses). Should there be a tie score between the 1:00 and 2:00 groups there will be a final sudden death although (obviously) should any of the tied participants have left the facility the contest will default to the remaining player (s) with the highest scores.

THE BEST PART OF THIS?

WE’LL SPLIT THE ENTRY FEES FOR EACH CONTEST WITH THE WINNER OF THAT CONTEST. BRAGGING RIGHTS AND CASH. WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT?
